Survey on advertising time

By commissioning surveys on a regular basis, FICORA monitors how television channels comply with the provisions on advertising and teleshopping spots under the Act on Television and Radio Operations. The survey examines the amount of advertising, placement of advertising and separation of advertising from the rest of the programme. The survey is based on three channels' prime time programmes recorded on randomly-selected days during one week. The
surveys have been conducted since 2002 and they are available in Finnish.
