MONITORi provides more regional information about communications services

Published 30.11.2016

FICORA's MONITORi service provides a comprehensive range of information on communications services in Finland. The service contains information on the availability, supply and prices of broadband services that may now be filtered by municipality. As a result of MONITORi's improved accessibility, the service achieved the ‘Accessibility considered’ seal by the Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired.

MONITORi provides information, for instance, on the regional availability of TV and radio, postal services and broadband projects. The service also contains information on the supply of telephone and broadband subscriptions in areas where a telecom operator has been designated to ensure the provision of universal service. In addition, the service publishes information on significant disruptions in telephone, broadband, TV and radio connections reported to FICORA by telecom operators.

The information included in MONITORi is based on data collected in connection with FICORA's steering and supervision duties. For the most recent information on the availability, functionality and prices of services, contact the operators providing the services.
