FICORA ensures interference-free communications at FIS World Cup Ruka Nordic

FICORA ensures interference-free communications for event organisers, media and international audience at Ruka Nordic from 25 to 27 November 2016. FICORA's specialists have been involved in the pre-event planning and will be at the venue during the event.

Before the event, FICORA has coordinated the use of frequencies and granted radio licences for equipment used in the event. During Ruka Nordic, FICORA's specialists are responsible for steering and supervising the use of frequencies, including inspecting all radio equipment and related licences at the venue. To guarantee effective communications, the specialists also monitor the use of frequencies during the event and solve any interference issues quickly.

Ruka Nordic is the world's largest winter-sport world cup event with contests in Nordic combined, ski jumping, and cross-country skiing. Read more about the event:
