Telecoms operators submit information security reports on communications services
Published 04.07.2013The Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority (FICORA) requested Finnish telecoms operators to report on the information security of communications services in Finland. FICORA has received nearly all requested reports. Delayed reports have been requested to be submitted by the end of this week.
The clarification request aims at examining what sort of communications services implemented with foreign partners are provided to Finns, and who these partners are. Telecoms operators have also been requested to submit information on how the information security of these services has been tended to.
The resolving of the matter is continued by studying the replies and if necessary, by making additional requests. FICORA is preparing to publish the results of the clarifications towards the end of August.
