FICORA's domain name register open for public use

The domain name register has been opened for public use. This allows searches of large amounts of information about several domain names at once. The self-service is provided free of charge. Earlier, information was only disclosed on one-time basis against payment.

It is possible to search, for example, following information from the domain name register: a list of all granted fi-domain names, holders of domain names, date for granting the domain names and the last day of validity. It is not possible to search for domain names or information about domain names applied for as a private person, unless the private holder of the domain name has not given consent to the publication. E-mail addresses will not be published either.
