Phishing messages claiming to be from the Finnish Tax Administration

FICORA has received reports of phishing emails targeting Finnish tax payers. Sent in the name of the Finnish Tax Administration, the fraudulent messages claim that the recipient gets a 318.12 euro tax refund if they register on the Finnish Tax Administration website and authenticate themselves using online banking credentials.

The National Cyber Security Centre recommends great caution with any unsolicited emails requesting the user to log into a service or change a password.
