TV fee ensures quality programmes on YLE's channels

The television fees FICORA collects are passed to the State Television and Radio Fund, which is the source of funding for YLE's versatile programme provision. The television fee must always be paid when you can receive and watch television transmissions.

Decisions on YLE's new financing and administration model will be made in 2011. The Ministry of Transport and Communications continues to work on the reform.
