Frequency Allocation Table

Frequency Allocation Table

Information on the use of radio frequencies is compiled in the Frequency Allocation Table (9 kHz - 400 GHz), annexed to FICORA Radio Frequency Regulation. This frequency plan guarantees a fair availability of radio frequencies and efficient, appropriate and sufficiently interference-free use of frequencies. FICORA assigns frequencies to users based on the frequency plan. The frequency plan is updated every year.

Radio Frequency Regulation 4 and its Annex, the Frequency Allocation Table, was last updated on 4 November 2009. A new version of FICORA Regulation 15, on Collective frequencies for licence-exempt radio transmitters and on their use, was published at the same time.

FICORA sends requests for comments to its stakeholders regarding preparation, approval and implementation of panning, decisions and regulations on the use and availability of frequencies.
