Detailed radio equipment requirements

All radio equipment must bear a CE marking. Every piece of equipment must also be accompanied with the manufacturer's declaration of conformity.

It is important that radio equipment uses frequencies assigned for a specific purpose. Equipment might either not operate properly on the wrong frequencies, due to interference, or cause interference to other radiocommunication.

With the exception of radio equipment that has been exempted from licensing separately all equipment will need a radio licence.

The licence-exempt radio equipment operate on collective frequencies, according to FICORA Regulation 15.
