Nationwide business numbers

The pricing of nationwide business numbers deviates from the normal in that the charge for calling to these numbers is the same from anywhere in Finland.

The first part in nationwide business numbers are:

  • 0101 - 0109;
  • 0201, 02021, 02024-02029, 0203 – 0208;
  • 029;
  • 0301 - 0309;
  • 071, 073; and
  • 075003-075009, 075303-075309, 075323-075329, 075753-075759, 075983-075989.

They are fixed-line telephone numbers.

FICORA will no longer grant numbers starting with 071 to end-users, but grants them to telecom operators as part of a range. Operators then grant them to their customers.

You must dial the number in full when calling to a nationwide number. You do not dial any area codes or operator prefixes.

When you call to a nationwide number from abroad, leave out the first zero (0) from the number, just as you would leave it out from an area code, for example + 358 10 234 5678.

Numbering areas that telecom operators have handed over to each others

Due to number portability, some of the numbers in the business ranges have later been connected to the network of another telecom operator. In addition, if agreed, a telecom operator can, under its name, provide it's customer's subscription with part of a number range that has originally been granted to another telecom operator.

Call toll-free to 0800 02202 or check the internet at www.siirretytnumerot.fi to find out which telecom operator's network the number from the business number range or telephone number is in.
