Service numbers

Service numbers in Finland

Service numbers can be national or based on a telecommunications area or telecom operator. You can bar calls to additional-cost service numbers by using call barring. Normally, service numbers cannot be reached from abroad.

National service numbers starting with

  • 0600 are reserved for 'running errands' services.
  • 0700 are reserved for 'entertainment and adult entertainment' services.
  • 0800 and 116 are reserved for free services.

Other national service numbers are

  • 0100 service group I - non-profit services;
  • 0100 100 public directory inquiry and service number for national call forwarding;
  • 0200 service group I - non-profit services;
  • 02020, 02022, 02023 service group I - non-profit services;
  • 02020x (x=0-7, 9) public directory services and service number for national call forwarding;
  • 020208 service number for international call forwarding;
  • 02098, 02099 service group II - 'running errands' services;
  • 0300 service group I - non-profit services;
  • 075100-075199 public directory inquiries and national call forwarding;
  • 075200-075299 public directory inquiry and national call forwarding;
  • 075000, 075300, 075320, 075750, 075980 public directory inquiry and service number for call forwarding;
  • 075001, 075301, 075321, 075751, 075981 service group I - non-profit services; and
  • 075002, 075302, 075322, 075752, 075982 service group II - 'running errands' services.




Some of the service numbers granted to operators have later been connected to the network of another telecom operator. Call toll-free to 0800 02202 or check the internet at www.siirretytnumerot.fi to find out which telecom operator's network the number uses.

Information sources on national service numbers

The following numbers provide information on service providers of national service numbers

  • 0200 18818 lnf (local network fee)/mpf (mobile phone fee) - numbers in TeliaSonera Finland Oyj's network; and
  • 050 950 500 - numbers in the network of Elisa Oyj.

You must dial the number in full when calling to a national number, including the zero (0) in the beginning. Do not dial any area codes or operator prefixes.

Service numbers based on telecommunications area

Service numbers based on a telecommunications area normally start with 106 or 107. Normally, it is not possible to call to service numbers based on telecommunications areas from another telecommunications area's fixed network. The telecommunications area's prefix is dialled, when the call is made from the mobile network.

Operator-specific service numbers

Operator-specific service numbers start with 100. They cannot be reached from another telecom operator's network.
