Directory inquiries and call forwarding services
FICORA allocates the service numbers for directory inquiries and call forwarding.
Numbers providing directory inquiries and call forwarding of national calls are:
- 118 - service number of the telecom operator that delivered the subscription;
- 0100 100 – Elisa Oyj's service number
- 02020x (x#8) - Fonecta Oy' s service number
- 075 000, 075 300, 075 320, 075 750 ja 075 980
- 075100 - 075199
To avoid possible dialling errors, the number 075 112 will not be granted.
Directory inquiries and call forwarding abroad
In addition to directory inquiries and forwarding of national numbers, forwarding services of international calls can be obtained from:
- 020208 - Fonecta Oy's service number
- 075 200 - 075 299
Restrictions of the service
The number 118 provides directory inquiries and forwarding of national numbers only. Other service numbers can also provide non-profit services in accordance with FICORA's barring regulation.
Service numbers must not forward calls to the following service groups referred to in FICORA's barring regulation
- II Consulting and ordering services
- III Entertainment services
- IV Adult entertainment services
A telecommunications operator may be granted permission to connect a call also to a favourably priced number in service group II. These numbers may include e.g. taxi ordering services. The permissions are granted by self regulation in the sector.
