Mobile network are codes

Mobile network prefixes and calls to mobile phones

The numbering of mobile networks and services starts with 04 or 050. FICORA grants telecom operators prefixes for mobile networks. They have three to five digits.

This is how you make a call in Finland from a fixed-line telephone network to a mobile phone whose prefix is 0abc:

0abc + telephone number A call via subscription operator
90XYZ+0abc+telephone number A call with general operator prefix (XYZ indicates the telecom operator)

Calling to a mobile phone whilst abroad

When you call to a Finnish mobile phone while you are abroad, leave out the zero (0) in the mobile network prefix after you have dialled Finland's country code 358.

For example, when the prefix is 0abc: +358 abc 123 4567
