Use the price comparison to compare mobile phone subscription prices. The table shows as many of the GSM consumer subscriptions for sale in Finnish markets as possible. FICORA has picked the consumer subscriptions provided by mobile operators from their websites. They include various voice and text message combinations.
Four user profiles are used for comparing the monthly prices of subscriptions:
- low use;
- medium use;
- heavy use; and
- text message usage.
The price comparison of mobile data services describes low data transmission usage on mobile phone, such as occasional internet browsing or checking e-mail.
In the Excel table, decide the order of subscriptions based on profile-specific price.
Pay attention when comparing
The prices and comparisons do not include
- subscription activation fees;
- special offers;
- prepaid subscriptions; or
- subscriptions that are not for sale anymore.
The calculation of data transmission price is based on the least expensive alternative. The prices include value added tax.
About 75 per cent of the calls are made to mobile networks and 25 per cent to land-line phones.The share of mobile phones and text messages directed to the operator's own network equals the operator's market share + 15 per cent.
