Telecom operators' optional call barring services

In addition to obligatory barring services, telecom operators often provide other possibilities to block outgoing or incoming phone calls. Other barring services than those that have been determined as obligatory in legislation can be subject to a fee.

For example, it is possible to block

  • all outgoing calls;
  • outgoing international calls;
  • all incoming calls;
  • incoming international calls.

Some operators also provide the opportunity to block data transmission traffic.
Optional call barring can often be managed with a password.
