Effective TV and radio networks – monitoring and guidelines

FICORA steers and monitors the technical functionality of communications networks and services. To ensure that TV and radio services are effective, FICORA has drafted regulations and guidelines on networks and services - both for normal circumstances and disruptions.

FICORA monitors the technical functionality of TV and radio networks, by for example,

• inspecting organisations that provide the services; and
• monitoring faults and disturbances in networks.

Service operators must notify FICORA of significant faults and disruptions in their communications networks and services.
