FICORA monitors and gives reports of TV and radio operations in Finland.
For example, the following matters in the field of TV and radio operations are monitored:
• the degree of European works and volume of television programmes produced by independent producers;
• programmes with harmful content for children;
• duration and placing of advertising; and
• compliance with the provisions on hidden advertising and sponsorship.
